Leopard print maxi and chambray top

Summer to me, is about flaunting maxi dresses, not just because they have a Grecian goddess aura circling them, but also because it feels like a lungi y'all!

If you're about to ask me, "What's lungi mama" , Ima gona let u google that one out.
Anywhich ways, Indian men just can't seem get out of them, that should speak in volumes of,
 The Comfort Of The Lungi!

I knotted a simple chambray shirt, that i have previously featured here , to give the outfit a little "coverage" and "dimension", if you know what I mean .
paired it with simple givenchy shark tooth knock off from Forever 21,
only, this is more a tiger tooth than shark. But you get the idea. It's a TOOTH!

Summer is incomplete without my jingly arm candy.

P.S: I have not always felt this way about maxi's. I always felt I was too short and hip-less to rock one like a goddess and all. :p
But this time around, I seem to have figured the formula. And that's -
Just don't care. You love it, you wear it!
And that's it! Ta! :)

Photo Diary: Malaysia Day 2

I had travelled to Kuala Lampur , Malaysia last year, I am loaded with the pics, but I just couldn't find time to go through the large no. of pics, edit 'em and upload.
I have already posted my experience on Day 1 in Malaysia, which you can stroll through if you are interested.
Anyways, moving on to Day 2, it was a perfectly perfect morning, a little foggy, tall buildings, greenery, so on and so forth.

As for my outfit, I threw on a cropped blazer on top of my playsuit to give it a casual chic look, since we were planing on going to an expo.

A small water bottle is a must have in every traveler's hand bag.

We strolled through a local mall. Have I mentioned how awesome their buildings are?

Love the names of some stores! :D

Moved to KLCC for my very first beauty expo ever.

Had dinner at the awesomest Chinese restaurant I've ever been to - Hakka

Crazy KL traffic.

Walked around the place a bit more, came back to our room, and rested our tired feet and fell asleep watching Bruce Almighty :)

Double duty : Denim on denim

Good morning my lady bug!

The chambray bug bit me late last summer, and I have been infected ever since!

The denim on denim trend can be seen as overtly 90's but hey, fashion is always recycling!
Denim on denim trend doesn't have to be worn by styling 2 pieces of blue denim together.

You can pair classic denim with any other colored denim to fall into the trend!

I kept it crisp, light and white in this ensemble, and played off the white from my pants in my jewellery.

Did an oh-so-subtle color blocking with my sunny yellow strappies, and I'm set for the day!
Have a nice day :)

My love for black and white

Hello my lovely pumpkins!
Hope you had a wonderful easter!
Remember when I told you I have no qualms about wearing just black and white?

Well, this is what I meant !
:D
There are a few key pieces I add to my wish list every season. It is not possible to buy everything that is on trend at the moment, and it is slightly stupid to invest in seasonal pieces.
To me it is important to keep a watch on the upcoming trends, and figure out what I love and what I want.

The white tuxedo blazer is one such item that I had added to my buck list a long ago.
However, for many many reasons, white blazer just didn't look good on me.
I didn't give up, and I kept the search on until I found this baby.
I love it because, firstly, it stops just at my waist, as opposed to the long 'borrowed from the dad' look that I love , but I cannot carry well, since I am top heavy.
In my opinion, skinny girls look best in the over-sized blazer.

Secondly, the black lapel keeps the stark white away from my face.
The all white boxy frame of the traditional white blazer kind of gave me a dull look.

I paired it with a simple white shirt, and dainty bling bling.

Tuxedo pants fit right into the mix.

I could wear black and white all day everyday!

Since you survived until this line, ima gifting you with..
A bonus cheeky pic of the day!!

Catch ya later alligator.

If you wear white and black, post 'em on my facebook page!

Black and white with a pop of color

Hey my loves!!
This post was featured on www.fabsugar.com, check it out here

I've been away for quite a while, now don't get me wrong, I'm not lazy, and I'm not neglecting my baby blog,
I have been religiously taking snaps for the blog, but never found the time to edit or upload!!
Apologies! :(

In the meanwhile, winter has swiftly walked past us, making way for happy spring!

While I was aware of the black and white fashion forecast, I never expected me to grow so much onto the trend. I mean, spring is about colors right?
well, Whadya know, The black and white trend captured quite a large spot in my heart!!

Unlike some girls, I have no qualms of donning black and white head to toe, and I have been doing so quite a bit, but today,
the sun was shining, the wind was blowing, :P
I just had to inject some color into the black and white palette!
And hence, the color blocked pants vs bag.

Now, talking about this lace top, lace is in vogue this season undoubtedly, but here is another trend I was not planning on warming up to. The blouse was an impulse buy.
Like, whatever, I just need to buy something, need retail therapy to de-stress.
You know, that kind of buy!
But this is  one of fav buys. I love it!
So many outfit ideas gushing through my mind!!

I have said this a million times, and I will say it another million times (maybe I will stop then!)
Accessories build a wardrobe.
They give that finishing touch that takes you from 'nice clothes' to 'fab fashionista' !!
So pile 'em on this spring!

Now I cannot post this post without giving my baby a special mention right?
what do I say about her? Well, my nails match her today! :)

SSssomebody has been chatty today.
Catch ya later, alligator !

Blue parrot | Tribal skirt, electric blue blouse

Hey there my beautiful cupcake!
Your life is a message to the world. Make sure it is inspiring!
So, wear some color, smile and make your day :)
Featured on fabsugar! ( http://www.fabsugar.com/Street-Style-March-4-2013-28368418 )
This military jacket is my goto jacket come winter, it just makes any outfit go BABAMM!

I bought this tribal skirt from H&M a long time ago, and never really found the "absolute right" way to wear it.

But with me re-discovering my favorite color, Electric blue, I realized, rocking this patterned skirt like nobody's business is as easy as eating a few chocolate cakes!

I especially love the exposed zipper and the leather piping detailing  on the neckline.

With so much going on with the outfit, it is important to keep the the rest of the outfit understated. black leggings, boots and a muted hand bag does the job!

So that's it! :)

What I'm wearing:
Top : Zara
Skirt : H&M
Leggings : Marks & spencers
Boots : Street shop
Bag : Hidesign
Watch : Longiness.
